Dr. Margee O'Donnell-Foust
Owner & Veterinarian
Dr. Margee O’Donnell-Foust decided to be a veterinarian when she was growing up on a small farm in Madison, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University for undergraduate and veterinary school. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2002 and she graduated from the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduation, Dr. Margee completed a rotating small animal internship at VCA VREC/SVREC in Connecticut. She returned to Ohio as a general practitioner at Adamson Veterinary Services in Salem, Ohio. She spent a year as an emergency veterinarian at AVETS in Monroeville, Pennsylvania before returning to Columbiana County to start BARK Mobile Pet Vet.
Dr. Margee decided to offer home health care for pets as a convenience to clients. Pets benefit from decreased stress by not having to travel to a vet hospital and wait in a lobby with scary smells and sounds.
In her free time, Doc enjoys kayaking, yoga, reading, and spending time with her family - which includes three happy dogs, Petey, Burton, & Lilly.
Dr. O’Donnell-Foust is a member of the following organizations:
+ American Veterinary Medical Association
+ Ohio Veterinary Medical Association
+ American Association of Mobile Veterinary Practitioners
Heather started working with rescue dogs shortly after bringing home her first dog as an adult. For nearly a decade, she has worked in animal welfare. Heather is the former Director of a local humane society, a Humane Agent, and still continues to volunteer with area rescues. Heather has fostered many dogs on their path to their forever home. Her passion for behavior was ignited by a fearful English Mastiff she fostered and later adopted named Blondie. It is Blondie who was her inspiration to become a dog trainer and help dogs and owners work together to build a strong, positive bond. She is the proud mamma of five fur kids - 3 dogs and 2 cats. Along with being a vet assistant for BARK, Heather is currently working to become a CPDT certified trainer.
Dana currently assists with paperwork and house calls. She is amazing at keeping Dr. Margee organized! A Youngstown native, Dana lives with her beautiful family (including Boxer, Mugsy) in Canfield, Ohio.
